Moz DA ranges from 1 to 100, with higher scores equalling a better domain (aka a better chance of ranking highly).

DA scores between 40 – 50 are considered average, with 50 – 60 being good and over 60 being excellent.

Domain Rating (DR) is a proprietary metric developed by Ahrefs to show the strength of a website’s total backlink profile as determined by size and quality. DR is measured on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100, with 100 being the strongest.

Ahrefs’ algorithm calculates DR by looking at how many unique domains link to the website in question and the quality of those backlinks.

A DR of 30+ is considered to be good with 60+ being excellent.

Trust Flow (TF) is another SEO metric developed by Majestic (another well-known SEO Backlink Checker & Link Building Toolset) to help predict the TrustWorthiness of a web page based on the quality of its backlinks.

Citation Flow (CF) on the other hand, is largely calculated based on the overall volume of links or quantity of links

Together, these metrics are used to help spot genuinely high-quality sites and weed out the spammy ones with questionable linking tactics.

According to Majestic, an ideal TF:CF ratio is 1:2. In other words, if a site has a TF of 20 and a CF of 75, you’ll want to steer clear of it!

A web page with higher Trust Flow than Citation Flow will usually have good-quality links.

2) The scale is logarithmic, which means that it’s a lot easier for a page to go from UR 20 to UR 30 than it is to go from UR 70 to UR 80.

3) Both internal and external links are taken into account.

4) Our algorithms spot and cut off “linking loops” — the exchanging of rating scores again and again in a loop between two websites.
