How was the name ‘MUSKLY’ actually formed?

You might need to know what MUSK means! In broad terms, it is a smelly glandular secretion produced by the male musk deer that is used for perfume fixing.

Interestingly, this meaning came from the dictionary, but it had a naming story in real life!

It was 2012 when it happened!

We had a blog called SocialMusk.com. It was a platform for blogging about social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Plus+, etc. (who are in the top ten, but what about the others?). The use of Musk here was only intended to describe the virtual smell of networking on social media sites. Here we are at the beginning!

In 2013, what about?

After blogging for one year, we lost focus because there were no goals or missions! As a result, we didn’t renew our blog, and someone else re-registered that domain and hosted it too in his name (because the site was hosted by him).

What about in 2014?

The incident led us to form another online identity: SocialMusker (the Personal Brand of Md. Nazrul Islam, Founder & CEO of MUSKLY).

What happened in 2015?

It is a fusion word meaning App+Entertainer; someone who gives you the very finest apptertainment (entertainment), obviously related to mobile applications, which will make your life apptertainable (entertainable) out of the millions of apps available. It was however a failed project as well due to inadequacies in the approach and lack of focus.

How about at the end of 2015? It’s another failure!!!

Afterwards, we tried working with a different domain name (www.appteresting.com), but failed once more due to a mistake! If you’re still seeking your passion, this quote may help you, too!

What will 2016 bring?

We were considering reshaping how we work online! In the era of Google getting smarter and smarter, it’s almost impossible to game the system (SEO & Online Marketing).

But the question was, where should we place our focus?

Suddenly, a quote from American author and blogger Seth Godin appeared.

“Content Marketing is the Only Marketing Left,” this line inspired us a lot to learn more on Content Marketing!

 

Seth went on to say (I’m paraphrasing) that, teaching your customers and giving your customers the resources to believe you is the new marketing. They become a fan of yours because you teach them something that makes them feel better about the world.

The founder of MUSKLY worked for ringID (IPvision Canada Inc.), which gave him an opportunity to learn about the process of Content Marketing in the real world. Through the Internet, MUSKLY’s founder gained a deep understanding of all the steps involved in Content Marketing! At the time, he was working to implement those practices in real life that were implemented as SocialMusker!

We registered the domain name ‘MUSKLY’ in mid-2017.

Why MUSKLY?

This is how MUSKLY was formed and came onto the WWW to create fantastic content that people like you would love to spread. Every content creation project will be considered by MUSKLY as a different bottle of perfume that spreads a different type of invisible smell (different purposes of a client).

What will happen in 2018?

Develop the website piece by piece throughout 2018, out of job responsibilities, and wait for 2019 as the mission was originally planned! Additionally, we are thinking about establishing a team.

Md. Nazrul Islam, the Founder & CEO of MUSKLY, is known for his Personal Brand aka SocialMusker (A Man Who Loves You! ), based in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. In 2011, he graduated from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) with a major in (MIS) Business Development and quickly discovered that his passion led him into the field of Digital Marketing.

You know, nowadays every brand is a publisher! As a result, brands, companies, and channels need engaging content to engage and live with their audiences. Throughout his career, he has provided content creation and digital marketing services to brands and companies such as Syntech Solution Ltd., Bdlive24 (The largest Online Bangla News Portal), NRB Telecom (Data Center), IPvision Canada Inc. (Telecommunications), ringID (Messaging App), TheTechNews (TechNews portal), SmartDataSoft (Top author from Bangladesh at Envato), PrestaSian (PrestaShop Add-Ons)!

Meet! Ehtesham Khaled,

We have known Ehtesham Khaled since 2005 and he has been a doctor professionally, but his passion is photography and photo editing. He has worked in this field for over five years. For a while, he was involved in travel photography, product photography, real estate designs, landscapes & conceptual photography. Formerly worked for Vrx Studios, Hometakes, Walkintour, Remax Realty, Lark Photo, and Alain Martinaze Photography.

Now he has joined MUSKLY as Chief Content Director! We’re happy to have him on our ship! Oops, education? Well, he has completed his doctorate from Bangladesh Medical.

graduated from North South University and is passionate about the content industry. He switched jobs and tried many freelance gigs before deciding Content Creation was his passion. Name:

“MUSKLY” comes from the central word “MUSK” (noun), and its adjective is “musky,” which means fragrance, beauty, or perfume.

It is easy to remember the name “MUSKLY” and it smells pleasant. It was created by its creator, SocialMusker, when he was in a working mood as a content marketer. As a result, it has become an integral part of our brand.

Tagline:

“CREATE CONTENT, THAT SPREADS!”

To make a brand easily recognizable, a clear tagline is essential. It’s imperative for us to demonstrate exactly what we sell in order to prevent our partners from doubting what we offer. In addition, it is easy to connect our content creation passion with people’s passion for spreading information.

The MUSKLY logo is composed of two elements (the icon and the wordmark). The icon shape of MUSKLY means a lot! Here are 33 dots representing contents, all together in a spreading motion!

According to The secret of the tarot blog

In numerology, 33 is considered a Master Number, which means it resonates at a higher vibration than other names. It has been called an angel number by someone! Furthermore, the number 3 represents creativity, self-expression, and the manifestation of creative abilities. If number 3 were expressed as a mental state, it would be best thought of as joy and artistic exuberance. When a number is repeated, as the three are in Master Number 33, its vibrational essence is multiplied, and its power to resonate throughout your life is greatly magnified.

In our wordmark, we used the font “Nasalization”

According to DaFont-

‘Nasalization’ is an ultramodern sans serif typeface with a nod to the 1975 Nasa logo. In OpenType savvy applications, a slanted M and W will automatically flip or straighten out depending on neighboring characters.

Color (Background & Palette):

 

Brand colors play a significant role in how a brand is perceived; it helps with its recognition and memorability. You can attract the right kind of customers, clients, and blog readers with it. Color is one of the most visible, recognizable, and tangible elements of a brand, and that is also true for MUSKLY!

It’s something that helps brands communicate with their clients to help them remember the brand! The colors and palettes we use are also very significant to us. This is why we chose Purple as our dominant color (Blue+Red=Purple)!

According to Arteqo Consulting (The European Web Agency), the RGB or Red, Green, Blue color model is a color model that describes any color as a mixture of red, green, and blue colors. This is an additive color model, meaning that it adds different amounts of red, green and blue to black, black being the absence of color. The Plump Purple color consists of 35% red, 27% green and 70% blue. In absolute RGB units (where the minimum is 0 and the maximum is 255) it is 89 red, 68 green and 178 blue. In other words, the RGB code of the plump purple color is RGB (89, 68, 178)

Wow! Do you know why?

The color purple is closely associated with creativity, imagination, royalty, nobility, luxury, and extravagance. It’s a rare color in nature, and many associate it with creativity and mystery. The Plump Purple color is one of the reasons we chose it for our branding! Plump Purple is appropriate for us since we’re working on something creative; yes, we’re creating innovative content!

We chose black for MUSKLY’s secondary color and dark gray for its optional color!

Font Selection:

POPPINS is the primary body font family used by MUSKLY. Our landing pages, messaging, branding, blogging, and social media should all use it to maintain consistency!
